Introducing Multi-tool post short code
Multi-tool post short code is a single short-code with multiple possibilities. With this short code, you can:- Insert posts in 6 different styles. (1 columnar, 2 columnar, 3 columnar, vertical list, plain list, etc.)
- Query posts from category, tags, selective page or post IDs, or from Custom Post Types
- Enable/disable post meta or post excerpt
- Control excerpt length
- Order posts by date, random, title, author, most commented, etc.
- Use any where within pages or text widgets
With available column and post short codes, you can create different combination of post sections on a page. I have created some variations which you can browse under the “Variations” link on Live Demo.
Theme Customizer Support
NewsPlus supports WordPress Theme Customizer for color variations on main navigation, sidebar headings, secondary widget area and footer. Using color pickers, you can control background, links and colors for these sections. There are other sections of site which may still require custom CSS, as I have included only main color scheme sections in Theme Customizer.
Optimized for SEO and Micro Formats
The theme is optimized for basic SEO requirements like content hierarchy, semantic code, internal linking and heading tags. The content area always resides above sidebar in the code. Internal linking is provided through menus and related posts. Dynamic heading tags are generated for main site name, and are optimized for single, archives, and front page. The theme also supports micro formats and meta data where required.
